Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of hiredto.work (the “Service”). By creating an account or accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use hiredto.work. By signing up, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it up to date. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access to your account.
Subscription and payment
Access to hiredto.work requires a paid subscription. Billing is processed by Paystack. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the price displayed at checkout, until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from your admin dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not provide refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
We may change pricing for new subscriptions at any time. Existing subscriptions will receive at least 30 days’ notice before any price increase takes effect.
Your content
You retain all rights to the content you publish on your portfolio (text, images, projects, resume, etc.). You grant hiredto.work a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service and rendering your portfolio.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to publish the content you upload.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use hiredto.work to:
- Publish content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or hateful.
- Distribute malware, phishing pages, or unsolicited advertising.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, scrape other tenants, or interfere with the platform’s operation.
- Violate the privacy or intellectual property rights of others.
- Use the Service to compete directly with hiredto.work.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Intellectual property
The hiredto.work name, logo, templates, and underlying software are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our brand assets.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that creates risk for us or other users. On termination, your portfolio will be taken offline and your data deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, hiredto.work and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold hiredto.work harmless from any claim arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in whichhiredto.work is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
